About Mind Harmony
The Mind Harmony organization was created to provide Neruosequential Model of Therapeutics© (NMT™) brain mapping to children and adults who have faced trauma and adversities during childhood.
The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics© (NMT) is a developmentally sensitive, neurobiology-informed approach to clinical problem solving. NMT™ is not a specific therapeutic technique or intervention. It is an
approach that integrates core principles of neurodevelopment and traumatology to inform work with children, families, and the communities in which they live.
Our Approach
Because of the sequential nature of development, children who face adversity at different ages and in different contexts present differently and have a range of developmental and behavioral impacts. To help address this challenge, the NMT™ draws on research from multiple disciplines (e.g., the neurosciences, anthropology, developmental psychology, and public health) to create a practical way for a clinical team to quantify elements of the client’s developmental history and current functioning, and practice in an evidence-based, developmentally sensitive, and trauma-informed manner.

Our Services
NMT™ Clinical Consultations are facilitated by Julie Reeves, MAS, NMT-I a clinician specifically trained in infant mental health, and phase I trained and certified in NMT™ assessment metrics. This is the perfect tool to use with other therapeutic interventions to improve children's and adults's mental health and overall function. NMT™ Clinical Consultations are for cases that require a greater understanding of developmental abilities and deficits to identify beneficial therapeutic work.
How does the NMT™ work?
The Neurosequential Model© Approach has three key components:
- 1) Training & Capacity Building;
- 2) History, Assessment & Completion of a NMT™ Metric
- 3) Individualized Recommendations in the NMT™ Metric Report.
The recommendations from an NMT™ Metric include guidelines for the selection and sequencing of therapeutic, educational, and enrichment activities that match the needs and strengths of the child.
What to expect during an NMT™ assessment:
- A comprehensive initial consultation
- Clinical summary that highlights all developmental, medical, and historical data
- Initial NMT™ or "brain mapping" metric that emphasizes the client’s unique brain map
- Family consultation to review metric components
- Follow-up metrics available upon request.
